Summer Boards and ECSC
We had a great weekend last weekend at the Virginia Jaycees state meeting. If you have not gone camping recently, you need to set aside time for summer boards next year.
This weekend, we will travel to Virginia Beach to volunteer at the East Coast Surfing Championship (ECSC). If you are interested in going, we can probably squeeze you into our hotel rooms.
Reunion Social Tuesday
Our reunion social will be tomorrow (Tuesday) night at the Snowden House at 6:30. You are invited!

Fair this weekend
The Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair concludes this weekend. Come on out to the fairgrounds on Airport Avenue and help us cook some burgers, hot dogs and fries. Our food booth will be open from 3-10 on Friday, 10-10 on Saturday and 12-10 on Sunday.
Fun in Richmond and Alexandria
This week we have two visitations on the calendar. First off, we will visit the Richmond Jaycees for their membership meeting on Tuesday. We will meet at 4:45 in the parking lot across from the Southpoint/Massaponnax Cracker Barrel to carpool to the meeting. Please bring a few dollars if you want to eat dinner or get a drink. For more information, see our Facebook event at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fredericksburg-Jaycees/288119268171?ref=ts#!/event.php?eid=132965153394837&index=1.
Our second visit will be a visit to the Alexandria Jaycees. We will help them as they grill and sell food at the Alexandria Birthday Celebration. The Jaycees will be the only hot-food vendor at the celebration. In exchange for our help, some of their members will help during our fair food booth in late July and early August. Our shift is from 4:00 until 8:00. For more information, please see our Facebook event at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fredericksburg-Jaycees/288119268171?ref=ts#!/event.php?eid=127153570657390&index=1.
Will these visitations match some of our recent visitations? The only way you can find out is by coming out and seeing for yourself.
Friday Cheers and the Bachelor Auction
In June, we had some interesting visitations. First, we attended Chesterfield’s membership meeting where we met all their new members who joined since we were snowbound. We also had two good visitations to the West End Jaycees. We went to Friday Cheers where we poured beer and watched an exciting band. The band, Deer Tick, played on the David Letterman show two nights earlier. Then we went to West End’s bachelor auction. Jen bought two guys. Chuck may have been auctioned off. I am not sure how many girls bid on him. Val checked out the action as well.
