Monte Carlo Night in the ‘Burg

To benefit community service and those with special needs

Fredericksburg, VA (FPRC) May 27, 2011 — Business owners of Fredericksburg Virginia have come together to support the Fredericksburg Jaycees first held Monte Carlo night event by donating over $5,000 worth of prizes.

 

Held at the newly built Courtyard Marriott in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg, the Monte Carlo Night event will benefit special needs adult and children by donating to Camp Virginia.  Camp Virginia, a 501 (c) 3 organization, provides outdoor recreational and educational facility for children and adults with special needs located in Bedford, Virginia.

 

On Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monte Carlo Night in the ‘Burg will provide the community a chance to play authentic casino games provided by Metro Casino Parties. Over 50 prizes will go to the winners of the door prize raffle, which will be held every 20 minutes, and to game prize winners.

The event will take place at the Courtyard Marriott, 620 Caroline Street in downtown Fredericksburg. Ticket prices range from $30 – $55. Room packages and tickets can be purchased at www.fredjaycees.eventbrite.com or upon arrival.

The three grand prizes include: 1) $500 Visa Card courtesy of Best Buy and Fredericksburg Rotary, 2) 3-Hour Limousine Package w/ Dinner for 2 at Potomac Point Winery ($400 value) courtesy of Fredericksburg Limousine, 3) 1 night stay @ Courtyard Marriott Downtown & Tickets to Comedy Night at the Courtyard Marriott ($250 value) courtesy of Courtyard Marriott.

The first 150 people will receive a complimentary sandwich voucher from Chick – fil –a.  Our guests are able to participate in a business card raffle for  free advertising through Valpak of Fredericksburg.  Downtown Tobacconist has supplied cigars to the event for guests to purchase and enjoy on the outdoor patio.  Complimentary hor d’ouerves will be served although if guests play up an appetite food and beverages can be ordered at the Courtyard Marriott’s Restaurant/Bar.

The Monte Carlo Night event is a precursor for the Speakeasy Casino Night, anticipated to be one of the largest events held by the Fredericksburg Jaycees on New Year’s Eve.

 

The Fredericksburg Jaycees is a non-partisan, non-denominational organization focused on leadership training and community involvement.  The Jaycees are dedicated to fostering leadership skills and personal development through projects in a variety of areas for young men and women age 18 through 41.
